What is Radio Frequency?
Radio Frequency is heat that is delivered to the tissue below the dermis, this stimulates the production of collagen and elastin. This helps tighten the skin giving a more youthful and rejuvenated appearance.
What areas can be used on?
Vivace can be used to treat the hands,neck and decolletage and stretch marks on the body. We can adjust the depth of the needling to safely firm and smooth thinner skin on the hands, neck.This works by improving the texture and tighten the skin which improves the appearance and reverses the signs of ageing.
What is RF needling used to treat?
RF needling is great for treating ageing, acne scars, reducing large pores on the face. It can be used to improve the texture of the skin and helps to reduce pigmentation and stretch marks.
How long is the downtime?
There usually is no downtime with vivace, Patients may experience post treatment redness for a few hours .The RF micro needling has built-in LED Light therapy which reduces post-treatment redness, too. We ask patients to wait until the next day before applying makeup.
Clients must apply SPF 50 after each needling treatment to protect treated skin from the sun.
Is it a painful treatment?
A topical numbing agent is applied 30minutes prior to the treatment. This really helps create a much more comfortable and tolerable treatment for our clients. This treatment is usually tolerated well from our clients after the numbing cream has been applied.
How often should you get RF Micro Needling?
We recommend three to five treatments 4x weeks apart for the best results all dependant on the clients skin concerns and issues. Usually at least 5x treatments would be required if acne scarring is the main concern.
Can the vivace be used on all Skin Types?
Yes, Vivace is a low risk treatment and suitable for all skin types Fitzpatrick skin types 1-5 are treated with this treatment. Vivace induces natural skin resurfacing without using heat or harsh chemicals or removing skin layers, so it’s safe for all skin types.
