New Injectable: BIOREMODELLER

We are soo excited about the new injectable bioremodeller that was released in Australia this month.

We’ve been waiting patiently for it, watching injectors in Italy, UK and Europe getting such beautiful results for so many years. Aussie injectors are relieved that we finally have it in our toolkit.

The Manse clinic was the first clinic in Australia to be trained in this new injectable treatment, the bioremodeller.

This treatment has changed the way that injectors treat a face. It strikes a balance between lift and hydration.

It spreads like liquid honey.

It is not a filler or a skinbooster. It is a bioremodeller for skin. It is not a volumiser.

It will not overfill or over-augment, it will make skin the best it can be.

It is for firming and tightening and repair.

Safety wise, according to the Australian distributor, “in 4.5 million treatments there have at this stage been no documented cases of vascular occlusions”. However, The Manse practitioners would still consider vascular occlusion a a risk, and take our usual high level of precautions to manage that risk.

Who is it for?

It is suitable for those who dont want to be overfilled and want a natural look.

It is a skin repairer and strengthener.

Where can it be used?

We are able to use it anywhere you have skin.

It is commonly used on the face, neck, decolletage, knees and hands.

The before and afters for neck treatments are fantastic.

How many treatments are required?

For the building phase, we will perform 2-3 treatments, 1 month apart. The supplier said that 80% of patients are happy with 2 treatments and 20% “need”/want a third.

For the maintenance phase we will perform 1 treatment every 3-6 months.

What is the technique?

The classic technique for the face is a very simple 5 point technique. These 5 injection points cover the whole face as each site spreads to a circle with a diameter of 4 cm. However we are finding that it should be a more bespoke technique created for the individual, as every patient’s need is different.

Is it painful?

It is the least painful technique out of most injectables, similar to antiwrinkles, but with less injection points.

Is there downtime?

There is minimal downtime, there are usually minimal lumps and redness straight after the procedure, which resolve quite quickly. In the neck, the lumps last a bit longer.

Risks

  • Bruising
  • Swelling
  • Lumpiness
  • Infection
  • Vascular Occlusion requiring a dissolver (which has a risk of allergy/anaphylaxis)
  • Need for more treatments than expected to achieve the results that patients want.

Pricing

Pricing is $980 for a 2ml syringe which is typically used on a face.

A 2ml syringe is the classic recommendation for the neck, but our practitioners are finding that 2x 2mls is better for better neck results.

Recommended Moisturiser with Bioremodeller

The recommended moisturiser for use after the bioremodeller, is Profhilo Haenkenium.

Bioremodeller for Neck

The neck is where the bioremodeller is even more of a standout product. This is helped by its unique “tan-delta” property of spreadability.

We find that necks in particular (and face of course), need a bespoke plan for the placement of the bioremodeller.
