Crow’s Feet (Eye Wrinkles) Treatment
Smoothing and softening smile lines around the eyes
Lines around the eyes—often called crow’s feet, smile lines, or eye wrinkles—are one of the most common aesthetic concerns we see at our Sydney clinic.
These fine lines develop when the outer eye muscles (orbicularis oculi) contract, especially during smiling or laughing. Over time, the creases can become visible even when the face is at rest, giving the eyes a more tired or aged appearance. There are many options available for treatment and a multimodality approach is often used.
Treatment Approach for Crow’s Feet
At The Manse, our non-surgical treatments aim to gently soften and smooth lines around the eyes while maintaining natural expression.
The goal is to achieve a refreshed, well-rested look without changing your unique facial character.
Multiple options are available, including threads, RF microneedling, regenerative skin boosters, and laser resurfacing—each designed to improve texture, elasticity, and overall skin quality.
Your Consultation – What We Cover
Before starting treatment, your practitioner will discuss your goals, treatment history, and comfort preferences. We’ll explore:
-
Have you had this area treated before?
-
Were you satisfied with previous results?
-
Are you more concerned with lines beside the eyes or beneath them?
-
How active is your lifestyle (e.g. exercise frequency, metabolism)?
-
Do you prefer a natural result with some movement, or a more refined look?
Facial Assessment
Your practitioner will assess:
-
The depth and placement of the lines
-
Eyelid and brow position
-
Any natural asymmetry or muscle dominance
-
Whether nearby areas like the cheeks are contributing to the lines
Choosing the Right Treatment
Your personalised plan will be based on your anatomy and goals. We may recommend different approaches depending on whether you prefer subtle softening or more visible smoothing.
Those with faster metabolism or previous quick fade may benefit from a slightly stronger approach, while others may prefer gradual improvement.
Threads as an Alternative Option
For clients seeking additional lift or collagen stimulation, fine threads can be used around the outer eye area to support the skin and encourage natural collagen renewal.
Threads are a great complement to other treatments, providing subtle tightening and structure for longer-term improvement in fine lines and elasticity.
Comfort Options
This area is generally quick and well tolerated. To ensure your comfort, we offer:
-
Topical numbing cream (applied 45 minutes prior)
