About the Vivace Skin Treatment Device
The Vivace skin treatment device is quite unique, as it represents a number of technologies in one device to achieve many outcomes.
Microneedling is a safer, chemical-free treatment to stimulate collagen growth. It is also known as Collagen-Induction-Therapy or C-I-T. When combined with radio frequency, it becomes the newest revolution in contouring and tightening and acne scarring treatment. The Vivace skin device also uses red LED for collagen stimulation and blue LED to target bacteria and active acne.
Maximum needle depth is 3.5mm. The two energy levels 1 MHz and 2 MHz offer similar results to both ablative and non ablative laser, but with less downtime.
What does the #vivaceexperience feel like?
Your clinician will apply numbing cream to increase comfort level, you will feel a light pressure to the face.
Does it hurt?
Do The numbing cream is applied 30 minutes prior to the treatment to deliver a very comfortable patient experience. Patients describe a pain level of 0-3 out of 10.
How many treatments do I need?
We recommend five treatments spaced four weeks apart. (minimum 3). Results can take up to 3 months to fully appear as the process of collagen regeneration increases over time.
How long does it take?
The actual treatment takes about 45 minutes with an additional 15 minutes needed for numbing.
When can I wear make up after Vivace Skin Treatment?
Most patients go out hours after the treatment with no make up at all. We recommend waiting until the next morning to apply makeup.
Can it be used on darker coloured skin?
Yes, most skin colours are suitable for the Vivace skin treatment, including tanned skin and darker skin. Fitzpatrick skin types 1 to 6 are suitable.
