Removing red spots on the face is really important. This red spot is a capillary haemangioma. It had been present for years and had been increasing in size with blood vessels growing outward from the red circle spot in the middle.
We performed 1 treatment of IPL and this was all it required. Sometimes 2 treatments are required.
The lesion was about the size of a 5c piece, this is really obvious on the face and the patient would have had to attempt to cover it with makeup daily. What a great way to start the day after this had been removed. No more wasting time covering it every morning, just waking with clear skin.
