Bioremodeller is new to the Australian market but has a strong reputation in the US. As one of the first providers in Australia, why did you jump on the opportunity to provide it?
Bioremodeller has a strong reputation in UK and Europe.
Our injecting colleagues in the UK and Europe have been sharing their experience with bioremodeller since it was released in 2015. The before and after images they’ve been sharing since then have been impressive. We wanted to achieve those results for our patients.
Patients and providers internationally love the product. It has such an enormous percent of the injectables market in the UK.
Watching the neck area results that our colleagues in UK and Europe have been achieving made us very impatient to add Profhilo to our toolkit. We knew patients would love it for that area and we’re finding that they do.
BIoremodeller has changed the way injectors treat a face, striking a balance between lift and hydration. It’s great for Aussies to be able to assess the safety of a product when millions of treatments have already occurred.
The neck before and afters were what made us want it and now that we’ve been using it, it has become our first choice for neck injectables
Can you explain what is in bioremodeller and what the mechanism is?
Profhilo is a gel that’s injected to strengthen, tighten and moisturise the skin. It is a very high concentration of the gel that’s in most fillers and has high spreadability compared to other available products. It stimulates 4 types of collagen and elastin. It attracts water within the deeper layers of the skin. It improves laxity and boosts remodelling and repair processes of tissue.
What are the benefits you will notice after a Bioremodeller treatment?
Skin will be tighter and smoother, The laxity and hydration will improve, The patient will look naturally younger, with better skin.
How many treatments do you recommend?
We recommend 3 treatments a month apart. Then repeat in 6 months. With necks we’re finding that patients should be having 2 syringes per treatment.

Bioremodeller is ideal for those who want beautiful skin and to look naturally younger. It’s also great for those who don’t want to be overfilled
Does Bioremodeller support long-term skin health?
That is the exact aim. It remodels and repairs. It’s also useful for scarring.
Do you see a growing market for these pre-fillers and skin boosters and if so why do you think that’s the case?
I wouldn’t say that bioremodeller is only a “pre-filler”. It could definitely be that, but It is very popular with patients who already have fillers, and is also popular for those who don’t want fillers.
Since I started in this industry over 20 years ago, we’ve been working towards getting to that “holy grail” treatment, ie a treatment with minimal downtime, low risk, with beautiful and natural results. Profhilo gets us closer to that aim.
There will be significant growth in this type of treatment. I’m not sure if it will take market share from fillers or whether it will grow the injectable market overall. My guess is the latter.
What is the pricing of bioremodeller
It is from $950 per treatment. Some areas like the neck get better results with multiple syringes per treatment
Anything new with bioremodeller?
Yes, we are hopefully getting a body version in the near future.
