Hello! I have some acne/problem skin-related boxcar scars on my cheeks. I have already tried derma-rolling treatments and laser treatments. This issue is that I would need many of these treatments to see results, and while I’m willing to take the time and have patience, they usually involve me severely breaking out in a rash or infection afterwards and I’m not willing to go through that every single time as I feel it is essentially counterproductive and keeps the scars occurring or potentially makes them deeper. I’m not sure if I’m just sensitive to these treatments or what. I would love to try fillers for this as it really affects my self-esteem, but I am 1. nervous about another infection and 2. don’t know if this would be a proper solution.
I want to come in for a consultation, but if you have any thoughts on this I would love to hear them.

HI Ckg,
To address your concerns.
1. Filler is very successful for acne scarring and significant results are seen from the first treatment
2. Although uncommon, infection is a risk with dermal fillers (as it is with any procedure which breaks the skin). If you are not willing to take this risk, then we do not advise that you have the treatment.
